This is one of my favorite recipes to use when I make bread.
Beer honey-oat bread with/without flax:
1 bottle/can beer (I used Budweiser as it needed to be used up)
3 cups bread flour
1 cup quick oats
2 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
3 tbs flax seeds (optional)
2 tbs flax seed oil (or olive oil, or butter)
3 tbs honey
let the yeast sit in the beer for a bit until it starts foaming, then
add other ingredients and mix as you go. You can pour the ingredients
into your or use your mixer to mix, knead, covered and let it rise for 2
hours or until it is 1-2 inches crested above the pan and then bake at
350 for 40-45 minutes.
