Using the Stockpile, Day 26: Tuna Helper & Out to Dinner

I wanted to go to Jitters today to use a Sioux City Journal Deal of the Day coupon (sold out now), but realized I had two frozen donuts leftover from the last time I went and got a box of day old donuts!  Pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they're perfect.

For lunch, I decided to kill off 3 pantry items:  Two cans of tuna and a box of Tuna Helper.  Plus, I killed off another bag of frozen peas!

For dinner, we had reservations to Carnaval Brazilian Grill in Sioux Falls with some friends. This was an awesome place to go!  I recommend it to everyone.  Check out their website for details.

I've taken my last roll of Farmland sausage out of the freezer for tomorrow.  We finished off all of the leftovers that I had cooked this week.

I'm really excited about all of the items we've used up this month.  While my cupboards are not bare by any means, they're definitely getting cleared out.  I am going to need to restock some things, but of course I'll wait for sales.  I still plan on making a Sam's Club run on the first to get some fresh stuff that I've been lacking.
